Welcome to one of the most energy efficient dwellings that Tumilty Design have been involved with. Mr and Mrs Harper approached our company to design a cost effective energy efficient dwelling.
Lorraine came to Tumilty Design with photos and ideas from Pinterest of what she wanted her dream home to look like. She loved the open light aspect that she seen on Pinterest, therefore we knew we needed to incorporate this in her new build. Bringing photos with her allowed Lorraine to show Tumilty Design what she envisioned her new home to look like. This helped us bring both the client and our ideas together and create a house that suited the land she had bought and her vision.
Cathedral Quarter Dental is based just off Hillstreet in Newry City and opened back in 2022. This renovation, lead by our team, revitalised an older building, transforming it into a modern dental practice that meets todays standards for patient care and comfort. The goal was to create a space that feels both innovative, offering a welcoming environment for patients and an efficient workspace for the dental professionals at Cathedral Quarter Dental.
Anne and Patrick came to Tumilty Design for their first consultation with a number of ideas. The one key feature the pair wanted to incorporate within their kitchen was a walk in larder cupboard as they had seen them in a number of magazines and thought it looked the part and was very practical for family life.
While construction is still underway, take a look at the building before the renovation started
This home was designed to embrace natural light and create a seamless connection with the outdoors, by featuring an abundance of windows that flood the interiors with sunlight.
Michael and Mary needed additional space and decided to sell up and move to a larger house. After some disappointing house hunting they were
In a dilemma. They couldn’t get the house they wished for on the market and the house they were living in at present was much too small for their ever growing family.
Today we bring you one of our latest completed projects. In Saval, Co. Down we bring you a successful replacement dwelling.
The new dwelling sits naturally within the existing mature site, a good example of countryside building and the integration within the landscape.
Darren and Martina approached Tumilty Design expecting a difficult time obtaining Planning permission. They had been listening to many friends advising them that it would be impossible to obtain planning in the countryside because they weren’t registered farmers.
The photos we bring today show the transformation of before and after the extension in Poyntzpass.
The photos we bring today show an overgrown side garden which has been turned into a site for a new home in Newry City.
Tumilty Design took County Down couple John and Paula from an idea through to their dream home. "I remember thinking building our own home would be beyond us, but after a consultation with Mark we realised it was in fact possible"
